Chris and Jim's Reviews of Our Favorite Cigars and Some Not So Favorite

FUENTE FUENTE OPUS X - This is one strong cigar if you have not tried one yet! A little warning: Don't smoke this one on an empty stomach or you will get high. This cigar is not for beginners! - Chris

The Fuente Fuente Opus X is a great cigar but should not be smoked in a hurry. Heed Chris' warning. - Jim

C.A.O. America is a new release from these folks who don't know how to make a bad cigar. Chris and I really enjoy this one.

C.A.O- Brazilia is one of many fine cigars made by CAO. The Brazilia is a dark cigar with a very easy draw. It's a woody taste and medium-bodied - Chris

One that I really like is the "Vegas 5" And the "Vegas 5 Gold". The Gold is a great cigar, very smooth and pleasant. The Vegas 5 is a bold, full boddied cigar that will get you high if you havent eaten anything like the Opus X will. -Jim's brother, Steve.

Sancho Panza is another favorite of mine. These are Honduran box pressed cigars. The red and gold labels are the best with the gold label being the better one. The gold label is just spicy enough with a good tobacco flavor. -Jim

Jim and I smoked the Victor Sinclair 55 yellow label, Cameroon wrapper, cigars. I think their have a good cigar; mine had a good draw to it, but Jim was having trouble with his cigar; it was rolled too tight at one end and he had to use a poker to get it to draw. I like the Cameroon wrapper; it has a nice, smooth, mild flavor. We also smoked the Victor Sinclair 55 blue label with the Maduro wrapper that was nicely aged, rich, and smooth. I like the chiseled end on the 55 series, a great cirgar for the money. -Chris.

I think I am settling on Perdomo and Don Pepin Garcia as my two favorite cigar brands for the money. There are, of course, better tasting cigars but they are out of bounds for my budget. Cigars are heavily taxed here in California by the tax and spend liberals; now the federal government has added even more with the SCHIP bill signed into law. Therefore, the cigar prices in California are pretty much unreasonable. The liberals have jacked the price of cigars up so high that only the wealthy can afford the really good ones on a regular basis. They have put these good cigars out of reach for the common man or woman. When are they going to learn that raising taxes only hurts poor families; or, maybe they already know that!
